We are seeking a skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and performing maintenance tasks on structures at great heights..

Rope Access Technicians are experts in the use of ropes, harnesses, and work-at-height equipment to access and perform work in areas where traditional access methods (like scaffolding and cranes) are not feasible.

Our ideal candidates are safety-conscious, physically fit, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities

Perform rope access work in a variety of industries such as construction, offshore oil, and wind energy.

Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs at heights.

Rig ropes and set up pulley systems for work at height.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Document work performed and report any issues identified.

Maintain and inspect rope access equipment.

Work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Perform emergency rescue procedures if necessary.

Qualifications:

IRATA or SPRAT certification is required.

Previous experience as a Rope Access Technician is preferred.

Physical fitness and the ability to work at great heights.

First aid certification is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Must be comfortable working in outdoor and potentially harsh weather conditions.

Additional Information

Job Title: Rope Access Technician

Work Environment: Work is primarily performed outdoors and at significant heights. Weather conditions can be challenging.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
